Lorex LW1001 Review: Lorex LW1001 Color Wireless Surveillance System with Indoor/Outdoor Night Vision Camera. We purchased this security camera at a good price (cheaper than the amazon list price). The setup couldn't have been easier. It is a standalone unit without the need of a computer. However, if you are technically inclined you can set it up with your PC for remote monitoring. The range of wireless is good, it claims 300ft, we tested within a radius of 150 ft and the reception and signal was excellent.
